CHOIR
ROBES- A church vote
is scheduled for January 12 to approve the purchase of new choir robes for the
Sanctuary Choir and Handbell Choir. If approved, the cost of the robes
($5471.50) will be covered buy funds left from the estate of Martha Glenn and
not from operation funds of the general budget.
SOUND
SYSTEM UPGRADE-
Today, a proposal will be presented to the church for a new sound system and
multimedia equipment for the church. If approved, the cost of the system will
and installation ($18,637.62) will be covered by a recent donation and not from
operational funds in the general budget. Members will have the opportunity
today to ask questions. A vote will be taken on January 19.
CHURCH
DECORATING- We will
be removing the decorations today right after the morning service. If anyone
can stay and help, we would greatly appreciate it.
OFFERING
ENVELOPES-Offering
envelopes are located on the front pew.
NEWSLETTER
CORRECTION- The
participants in the newsletter listed as State Bible Drill participants should
have been listed as Baptist All-State participants.
PERC
COLLECTION- This year
we will be partnering with PERC to help serve our local community by focusing
on collecting specific items. This month our “focus items” are paper towels
and toilet paper.
